As release manager you will oversee and track key project metrics, maintain and track project schedules, communicate project health, and manage weekly meetings to drive the team to completion of short-term goals. You will be responsible for all release requirements and procedures, assist the Extreme team to maintain project schedules and milestones, and ensure that our releases meet regulatory and customer needs. This role requires a bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience plus 4 or more years in product development and software product definition. We are looking for a seasoned Program Manager to drive and manage key features of the Relationship experience Platform (RXP) for Microsoft. The Relationship Experience Division is building Microsoft’s next customer and partner architecture which defines how we surface data thru compelling WPF applications and WCF Services. Our mission is to make the Relationship experienced Platform come to life and serve all Microsoft’s needs for customer and partner data.
In this position you will define the vision for the RXP features you own, identify and develop customer relationships, drive customer advisory boards, develop and deliver on the feature roadmap, work with customers to drive adoption, define customer feedback mechanisms, advocate customer requirements to the delivery team and defined key customer satisfaction metrics. You will also be expected to improve our product marketing, delivery and engineering process, deliver effective presentations and clearly develop, articulate the product suite’s and your feature’s strategic value propositions.
You will be exposed to the full gambit of Microsoft software and will need to leverage that knowledge to deliver real world applications which will be used by Microsoft, our customers and our partners.
The ideal candidate has:
1)4 or more years of engineering experience as a Program Manager

Responsibilities include:
•Internal communication and management of overall program scope, schedule, budget.
•Resource planning and management to insure teams are operating in a high performance work team environment
•Oversight of project scope definition and analysis through delivery of multiple projects spread across numerous build cycles.
•Coordination across a team of Analysis, Development, Test, QA, and Production Support groups for timely delivery of releases.
•Reporting program progress to members of workgroup, director, and management of other internal groups.
•Identification and management of major program risks and issues and working to mitigate the risks and preventing the issues from negatively impacting the program.
•Facilitating internal project team communication.

Qualifications include:
