请教一个巨弱的问题

诸位老大，最近领导让我尝试安装JDE server。由于我从来没有接触过这个领域，我费了很大劲，才找到了一点儿文档，看得仍然是一头雾水。 希望请了解的人能够给予指教。

1，我正在Windows平台安装JDE_E1_Enterprise_Server。

安装过程指定连接了一个远程的Oracle数据库，安装过程也没有报错，最后提示我安装成功了。但是安装结束之后，在“程序”菜单也看不到任何的应用程序？只在系统“服务”列表里面看到有手动启动的“JDE E812” service. 手动启动服务也能成功。

我的问题是：我怎么知道我安装的应用程序能使用了阿？我看不到任何的用户界面？是还要额外的安装什么软件去连接这个Enterprise_Server吗？

2，我看JDE_E1的安装文档，上面有“working with deployment server”, “working with platform pack”, “working with installition planner”, “working with Installation Workbench”, “working with Data Configuration Workbench”, "working with Enterprise Server"。

请问谁能告诉我这些部分都是什么啊？ 都做什么用的啊？我完全看不懂。:/papa

Here are some tips to allow you download and install 8.12 Standalone:

1. Goto Oracle edelivery [url]http://edelivery.oracle.com/[/url] and choose part # B23641-16

2. Download B30802-01 Part 1 of 3, B30802-01 Part 2 of 3, B30802-01 Part 3 of 3 to your local drive in a single folder

3. Unzip the 3 files in the same folder

4. Goto the BaseComponents folder and run Setup

5. Goto the DataComponents-English and setup

5a. Copy jdbj.ini from BaseComponents\Client to C:\E812\system\OC4J\j2ee\home\applications\webclient.ear\webclient\WEB-INF\classes

6. Download the SPC Code from Oracle [url]http://www.peoplesoft.com/corp/en/support/online_support/spc.jsp[/url]

7. Run the SPC code and input license#: fffffffff1

   For more info see booklet jde 812.pdf

8. Download the JDBC driver from Microsoft [url]http://www.microsoft.com/downloa[/url] ... &DisplayLang=en

9. Run setup

10.Copy the files from C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Driver for JDBC\lib to C:\E812\system\OC4J\j2ee\home\applib

11. Download Java2 SDK from Sun [url]https://sdlc1d.sun.com/ECom/EComActionServlet[/url];jsessionid=A9A4244B16449C76D25E8C8DEDCAB8E9

12. Install the SDK into C:\E812\system\JDK 13. Goto EnterpriseOne solution explorer 14. Goto tools menu and choose EnterpriseOne menu

老大，你说的这个demo版，我在网上也看到有guide了。

不过我安装的是完整版的。好包括deployment server，web server，Transaction Server，Enterprise Server 四个部分，一点儿不会弄。:/kkl
